We are governed by legislation that does not allow us to employ staff with out them first being qualified. We have adopted a buddy system, allowing a prospective new employee to accompany a fully trained and licensed security officer into the field to observe only. This allows the prospective employee the chance to evaluate if they are suited to this type of work. We have found this to be very successful.

Shaka NT Pty Ltd prides itself on its ability to recruit and retain high quality staff with excellent people skills. All staff are suitably licensed, and are encouraged to pursue professional development on regular basis and to keep informed of industry changes.

Shaka NT Pty Ltd currently employ twenty six fully trained licensed Crowd Control Officers & Security Officers. Six of our senior security officers are also qualified Fire Wardens. A police criminal history check is required every year on renewal of their licences. Senior First Aid Training is also mandatory. Becoming a security officer is quiet often a stepping stone for other professional opportunities encourage our staff if they wish to become police officers, prison officers, and federal police officers.
